Service dispatch

Service dispatch is the process of assigning and routing a technician to a service call.

Service dispatch is the process of assigning the right field technician to a service call and routing them, with the correct parts, to the customer site. It covers prioritization, scheduling, parts staging, and status tracking through to resolution.

In context

Dispatch quality decides a dealer’s cost per call and first-time fix rate. Poor triage sends technicians to problems that were really configuration or supply issues, or without the part the job needed — both drive repeat visits and idle windshield time.

How Auralis uses Service dispatch

Auralis triages requests before dispatch, resolving non-hardware issues instantly and enriching genuine faults with device and meter history so dispatch sends the right person with the right part. See managed print services.
